Problem:

After disabling a user it is still somehow showing on the Address lists ( Global and custom)

 

Solution:

Remove the ShownInaddressbook references attribute  on AD

 

After removing it won’t be showing anymore in any address list;

You may have to recreate the user if comes back as removing these values is not something supported ( or at least I’m not aware it is)
