Scenario:

Nanoserver on hyper-v enviorment

Nanosever not joined into the domain ( WORKGROUP )

 

1. First of all enable into your nanoserver al WINRM options

2. Review your nanoserver firewall rules regarding WRM

3. ENSURE THAT NANOSERVER HAS A LOCAL IP CONFIGURED EITHER A DHCP RESERVATION

 

4. Let the magic happen:

Let the server trust !

user new-pssesion-computername “ip” -credential “ip”\Administrator

Will prompt for password

 

Now we will be able to open the remote session 🙂

Get-Pssession will give you all the active session and its respective IDS

in order to connect just use enter-pssession -id ( id will be shown on get-pssession)
